2025 OUR YEAR OF THANKSGIVING

As we embark on this blessed year, we are embracing the theme "Our Year of Thanksgiving." This is not just a time to reflect on the good things we have received but also an opportunity to align our hearts with God’s eternal love and grace. Thanksgiving is more than just a holiday—it is a lifestyle, a daily expression of our gratitude to the One who gives us every good and perfect gift. In this year, we are called to cultivate an attitude of thanksgiving in every area of our lives—whether in times of joy or in seasons of trial. The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." This scripture reminds us that our gratitude is not dependent on our circumstances but on the unchanging goodness of our God. As a church, we will focus on the following pillars throughout this year:

1. Gratitude in Prayer: Let us begin each day with a thankful heart, lifting up our prayers of gratitude to God for His abundant love, provision, and faithfulness.

2. Gratitude in Service: Our thankfulness should be reflected in how we serve others. Let us use our gifts to bless our community, showing love and kindness as expressions of our thanks to God.

3. Gratitude in Worship: As we come together in worship, may our hearts overflow with thanksgiving for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who gave His life for us, that we might have eternal life.

4. Gratitude in Fellowship: Let us cherish one another as brothers and sisters in Christ, expressing our thanks through acts of love, encouragement, and support. This is a year to reflect, rejoice, and release our hearts in thanksgiving to the Lord. Every moment is an opportunity to give thanks. We are reminded that when we focus on all the ways God has blessed us, our hearts become full, our faith is strengthened, and our lives shine brighter. As we journey together through this year, let us be intentional in our thanksgiving.

Let it shape the way we love, give, serve, and live—so that our gratitude to God becomes a living testimony to His greatness and goodness. May this be our Year of Thanksgiving, where we acknowledge God's unceasing grace and give Him the honor He deserves. Let every day be filled with praise, joy, and thanksgiving.

In Christ’s love,
